This weekend my parents finally got around to putting up their tree and NOW the Christmas season has officially started! My whole life that was always the symbol of the season starting... and this year is the same as all the rest. Mind you I have been celebrating (buying gifts, wrapping gifts, baking cookies, listening to holiday music, etc) for weeks and weeks already but now, with their amazingly triumphant tree up, we can enjoy Christmas. :) I spend some moments going over the tree today looking at some of my favorite ornaments... 
  
This is our little vintage cottage - always a favorite for both my sister and I. This little gal on the swing is also a SUPER favorite too! She is like the littlest balancing act ever. You have to position her perfectly in order to stay upright. It's kind of a fun game to keep her up there perfectly. ;) 

This little brown ornament is a happy accident of mine from approximately 1990. I have always loved colors...ALL colors. With this fun project I just wanted EVERY color on the ornament at the same time and I had no patience to wait for anything to dry so it became a brownish ornament. It's hilarious how this ornament is still so "ME". 25 years later I can still say that I want all of the colors in one place, I don't have the patience to wait for things to dry and I still turn things brown when I paint (you should see me at "Paint and Pour" event).
