The Trendy Sparrow Holiday Lookbook

Two weeks ago I had the pleasure of working with some lovely girls creating the Holiday Lookbook photoshoot for The Trendy Sparrow. Lindzi, the fashionista behind the brand, was the creative director and visionary for the session and incorporated a fun mix of class and sass, setting the perfect tone for her amazing products.

Lindzi just recently won a HUGE contest for Chicago small business owners, sponsored by Block 37 called Search For The Next Great Pop-Up. After a rigorous application process with hundreds of businesses entering, The Trendy Sparrow made it to the top 5 candidates where the voting became an open forum on social media, and a combined decision with an interview in front of a panel of judges. After weeks of anticipation, The Trendy Sparrow won and was gifted with a free pop-up shop in Block 37 from Black Friday to January 15, 2016. What a huge honor and an unbelievable win, especially in a market as large as Chicago!

I am so happy that I was able to meet Lindzi and share in this great success with her as she prepped for her shop opening. As you are doing your holiday shopping, stop in at her Pop-up at Block 37 (Floor 2). You will love her adorable Kate Spade inspired looks, with styles ranging from quirky to just stinkin' adorable!

Not only can you purchase items from her new brick and mortar shop but you can visit her online shop or her Etsy page

I love the adorable details that Lindzi added to the scene. Check out those super cute "Cheers" tags on the champagne glasses! I love that detail... super cute! It kind of makes me want to grab a glass of that bubbly (which I guess is the idea)!!   ;)

The gorgeous models were some of Lindzi's friends and fellow Chicago fashion bloggers, Chloe, Erin, and Noelle. Their ultra fab makeup was done, for both "day" and "night" by Makael Pritchard. The looks were perfect for the theme - None of us could have been happier with the outcome!

Scene one was "Christmas morning" but scene two (my favorite!) moved to a "Holiday party". I love sparkles and sequins, especially the way they look on camera. As Kate Spade would say, "Glitter is my favorite color!"

The gorgeous jewelry are the designs of Liz Pham with See Song Designs. They are stunning and worked PERFECTLY for this adorable holiday session!

Make sure you check out The Trendy Sparrow online and if you are in the area, check out the Pop-up at Block 37! Stop in to see her great in store items and make sure you say HI to the fabulous creative behind the brand! Cheers to Lindzi and congrats again girlfriend!!
