I am so excited to share that Michelle Cox Photography has been rated as one of the Best Photography Studios the in the region by The Times! I technically was ranked as 3rd Best however The Times offers permission to utilize the logo for all promotions and marketing as "The Best..of 2015" if you ranked in any of the 3 positions. I could not be more flattered or honored to have been awarded this status, in ANY of the "places". 

As many of you know, I have been shooting for about ten years but only truly making it a "business focus" for about the last 4. I have had the same failure and the same successes as many of my peers, I have been awarded with great honors, yet also had my turn at great slumps... but all throughout that time have continued out hoping for the greatest success in my field. 

It took me quite a while to do photography full time because I was nervous to make that transition (scared of failure is a better answer). I worked a full time day job and somehow still managed to do full time photography...plugging away at my business and making slow and steady forward motion. I was editing photos before work, on my lunch breaks, between 5p and midnight, calling customers when I could, shooting on every weekend and  basically running myself ragged until I knew "it was time". Well, that time came -- and I couldn't be happier! Since I made that SIGNIFICANT career move, the Lord has blessed me with reassurance in little and big ways, more business and bookings, more success, peer recognition and an overall satisfaction with life.

I can honestly say that this new recognition as one of the Best in the Region is truly an honor and it is just one more way that I know that I made the right career move and that the Lord is helping me be the best that I truly can be.
