Nick and Lisa's Pinstripes Wedding

July 14, 2015  •  1 Comment

Nick and Lisa are a match made in heaven. Having known each other for several years before getting together, their family and friends rave about how great it was that they found each other and since that time, have become the perfect couple. They share an extreme love for life, laughter, family and children, and together are just "better". I was thrilled to get to know them throughout their wedding planning process (even though Nick tried to kill me while navigating through Oak Brook traffic...no really he did!) and I was indeed honored to share their wedding day with them, as their wedding photographer.

Nick and Lisa, along with their bridal parties got ready at the Chicago Marriott Oak Brook. The rooms were spacious and bright, filled mostly with the excitement and anticipation of a 'happily ever after', only to begin in a few short hours.

Lisa's stunning INC International Concept pumps were breathtaking... along with rest of her grogeous accessories. She wore a Kenneth Winston dress that was carefully picked out at Shelley's Bridal Couture in West Dundee. I absolutely loved the corset back! So many brides will bypass the corset because it takes so much time to get it perfect - I personally think that it is well worth the care and time. Lisa looked amazing in her gown and every single detail of her outfit was perfect. <3

The ceremony and reception took place at Pinstripes in Oak Brook, Illinois. Though there was some rain on the weather forecast, we were all praying the rain away at least until 4pm, which would be the end of the outdoor ceremony.

All of the stunning florals were created by Schaefer Greenhouses Inc

This beautiful blush and gold cake was designed and created by Julie Michelle Cakes, based out of Harvard, Illinois. Julie herself was actually standing up in the wedding as a bridesmaid, as she is one of Lisa's closest friends! This cake definitely got lots of attention at the reception, since it was so beautiful, I heard that it tasted as great as it looked - wish I could have had a piece!

Nick and Lisa, thank you so much for inviting me into your magical love story and thank you for allowing me to be a part of the most special day of your lives. I was honored to be there for you and I hope that I was able to tell your story in the way that you felt your amazing day. I know you already had an amazing time in Jamaica on your honeymoon but I wish you many more years of honeymoon love, happiness, blessings and success. xox -Michelle
