David and Aliaksandra were married on a warm, sunny day in late June of this year. Their wedding ceremony was held at The Immaculate Conception Parish and their reception quickly followed at the Highland Park Country Club. Both were absolutely stunning locations but I really wanted to add something different into their wedding portfolio - something a little more natural and ..."beachy". The obvious choice for this was the newly redesigned Rosewood Beach, directly on Lake Michigan. Not only was it pristine and new (because it was recently completed) but it was the perfect spot to give this couple a location that was unique and different from the rest of their day. 

One of the best things about being a Chicago wedding photographer is that we have access, not only to a gorgeous, urban area in downtown Chicago but also that we can visually juxtapose that with the clean beaches of Lake Michigan. Our coastlines can be weaved in and out of our images, showcasing the beauty of this area, making Chicago (in my humble opinion) one of the most visually appealing cities in the US. 

As you are planning your own Chicago wedding, talk to your photographer about finding a unique location for you and your wedding party. There are so many great options and together, with a little brainstorming, you should be able to find something fun and entirely "you".
If you are in the neighborhood, stop over to Rosewood Beach! It will be worth the trip!
