As many of you know, I am a HUGE Chicago Blackhawks fan! I have been in love with hockey for many years. It was a household staple in the good old days (when it USED to pay on TV) and when the Blackhawks started playing on TV again, I was right there...ready to scream, get frustrated and of course cheer for my boys!

I felt like I needed to make a blog post to specifically tell everyone how EXCITED and HAPPY I am to recognize my Chicago Blackhawks for winning the Stanley Cup a few weeks ago for the 3rd time in 6 years!!! This time, for the first time is 77 years, we were able to win at home at The Madhouse on Madison. We have a great team, a great organization and Chicago has some of the greatest hockey fans in North America. 

Unfortunately I was not able to go to the rally in Chicago for personal reasons but I downloaded the Where's the Cup app and saw the update on Friday afternoon that the Stanley Cup would be at the Chicago White Sox game on Father's Day. I rushed to my computer and brought three tickets, one for my Dad, my Mom and myself.

The crowd was a sea of red - it was clear that many people at the game were there for the cup arrival also. About 30 minutes before the game started, they started recapping the Blackhawks hockey season on the jumbotron. Then the CUP came out! I am so excited to say that I was able to touch the cup as it make its way around the stadium. So exciting!!! Like literally, TOO MUCH!
