Grace and Warlito's Northwest Indiana Wedding

Sometimes you meet a couple and can see perfectly that they are getting married for all of the right reasons. When I met with Grace the first time, she explained to me about her relationship with Warlito, talking about how they met and how they fell in love, and I knew that there wedding day would be a memorable one. As the best man so eloquently put in his toast, "they just have a glow" and that is true! They do indeed have a glow and as their wedding photographer I was so honored to capture that.

Grace and Warlito chose a venue in Northwest Indiana for their wedding. We fittingly chose the nearby location of Centennial Park for their first look. Not only was this a pretty location but this was the place that they went to on many dates in their early relationship and is the place that they fell in love. Since they already had such a connection to this location, there could not have been a more fitting spot for the first looks. Centennial Park is so close to their hearts and relationship already that it only made sense to bring everything full circle and be here on their wedding day.

Though the day was a little less sunny than we hoped for and a little more windy than we may have wanted, the first look was perfect and the time that Grace and Warlito got to spend alone before they said their vows before their family and friends was very intimate and romantic.

Grace and Warlito had an intimate wedding ceremony at Faith Church in Dyer, Indiana. Since this is their home church, the wedding location was also very special to them. It was a lovely ceremony with only their closest friends and family. Grace's maid of honor was her best friend and Warlito has his son stand next to him as his best man. The ceremony was full of emotion - you could tell that this couple was taking every single word to heart and that they were making a serious commitment to each other and to God.

This beautiful wedding cake was made by the younger of Grace's two daughters. The cake was definitely a hit and let me tell you, it was very tasty! There was a private story between the couple about the cake topper. Unfortunately I was not privy to the context of the chickens but all I know is that it was funny... because many of the friends were all laughing!

Congratulations to this happy couple! May the Lord bless your marriage and give you both many years of love, happiness and many more blessings.
